‘Boxes’ is a generic term covering trinket boxes, powder and perfume compacts, pill boxes and jewellery boxes, although you’ll find some box types overlap between the vanity collectibles section and other sections, such as vesta cases, usually listed as smoking collectibles, compacts and jewellery boxes, the latter which also have a specialist category in the ‘Jewellery & Watches’ category. On eBay today, under ‘Vanity / Perfume / Grooming’ you’ll even see wooden caskets offered in which to keep your loved one’s ashes - not sure why they made it into the collectibles category but a good price was fetched all the same.
